The Movement for Quality Government in Israel warns that the dismissal of the attorney general and the head of the Shin Bet in the midst of a war would represent serious damage to the rule of law and to national security. The dismissal of the attorney general would be a blatant violation of the conflict of interest settlement signed by the prime minister, and a clear reason for Netanyahu to be sent to prison.

Dr. Eliad Shraga: “At a time when there are 101 hostages in Gaza, a prime minister facing criminal charges seeks to fire the attorney general overseeing his cases and the head of the Shin Bet. We will use all legal tools at our disposal to prevent the collapse of the gatekeepers.”
