The Education Department at the Movement for Quality Government provides the public with a range of lectures and workshops focused on fostering activism and democratic values. Our aim is to drive significant and widespread social change by nurturing a generation of future citizens who will grow into influential leaders and active participants in shaping their government system. This transformation is achieved through leadership education, promotion of democratic values, and cultivation of critical thinking skills.
MQG operates one of Israel’s most comprehensive civic education and engagement programs. We deliver content across:
• High schools, where we introduce core democratic concepts and civil responsibility
• Pre-army academies (mechinot), where students explore state institutions, human rights, and public service ethics
• Youth groups and regional councils, where we foster peer leadership and practical activism
Our curriculum combines democratic theory with real-world civic tools — from legal literacy to protest strategy.
To expand our reach and accessibility, MQG recently launched:
• A digital civic education platform tailored to elementary schools
• A national democracy knowledge hub, available to educators, students, and civic organizations
• Collaborative programs with youth movements and kibbutzim, designed to support activism among evacuated and vulnerable youth populations
These tools help bring civic education into underserved and geographically marginalized communities, ensuring no student is left without access to democratic knowledge.
Beyond school settings, we also offer specialized training for future public servants, activists, and community leaders. These sessions focus on:
• Democratic values and institutional integrity
• Public speaking, media engagement, and ethics
• Tools for impactful civic engagement and local change
