The Movement for Quality Government in Israel expresses its deep concern that Adv. Kahlon will serve as acting civil service commissioner, even if only for three months. In view of the fact that his professional experience is insufficient for the position, and in particular in light of the disciplinary investigation opened regarding the substantial discrepancies between the manner in which his experience was presented and the actual facts, we believe that there is no room to allow his appointment to such a sensitive and significant position.
The Movement for Quality Government in Israel will continue to stand guard and act with all means at its disposal to protect the professionalism of the public service, especially during this critical period for the State of Israel. We believe that a person who meets the required professional standards should be appointed to the position of civil service commissioner, in a way that ensures the proper functioning of the public service.
