The Movement for Quality Government in Israel on to the disclosure that information was concealed from the Supreme Court on the issue of ultra-Orthodox draft: a criminal investigation into Minister Israel Katz is needed

Defense Minister Katz is working to hide essential information from the Supreme Court on the eve of the decisive hearing. This is obstruction of justice that may amount to a criminal offense. Katz is trying to hide from the court the fact that the IDF is able to draft all eligible ultra-Orthodox recruits early as 2026.

“The Movement for Quality Government in Israel demands that the attorney general immediately open an investigation on suspicion of obstruction of justice and breach of trust. This is serious criminal conduct that endangers national security and harms the reservists, for the benefit of political interests.”
